Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Reports To: Executive Director Location: North County Office Position Overview: The Community Outreach Specialist is responsible for promoting the programs and services offered by the Dayle McIntosh Center. This goal will be accomplished through the development of a marketing plan, delivery of community presentations, email newsletters, website content, and use of social media. These efforts will result in an increase in the number of individuals utilizing services from the organization, increased visibility in the community, and help to drive additional funding opportunities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Normal office temperature-controlled conditions with quiet to moderate noise level and little to no exposure to heat, dust, or fumes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position working at a desk; operate a computer and other office machinery including printer, copier, and telephone; move about inside the office to access office machinery; exchange information with coworkers and the public; and may need to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
