Economic Business Development
The Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce prioritizes economic development as a means to promote and grow the business community. Members of the Economic Business Development committee support local businesses, help with their growth, and promote communication within the business community via economic development programming that ranges from business workshops to community job fairs. Members also plan and promote several annual events and projects, including business outreach, Yorba Days Community Faire & Car Show, and the Shop Yorba Linda Campaign.
Legislative Advocacy
The Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to fighting for and protecting your local business. This is done by our legislative advocacy work and our 3-part offense, defense, and mobilize strategy. The Chamber helps grow the number of business friendly leaders in government and is always lobbying for pro business legislation in Sacramento and in Washington D.C.
Community Events & Networking
Our Chamber focuses on business connections and a healthy exchange of ideas. Collaboration within the community is important to thrive which is why members of this committee promote Chamber community events to increase awareness of the Chamber and its members. The major fundraiser of this committee is the Taste of Yorba Linda, held on the last Friday in July.
The Chamber also hosts Network Connection Luncheons. This is a weekly meeting open to Chamber Members and their guests. This meeting strives to improve respective business interests through the exchange of beneficial contacts. We meet every Tuesday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Black Gold Golf Course!
